Classes
Backbeat Music has award-winning bands and group classes for various skill levels. Class sizes are kept very small – usually under 6 students.
Bands are matched with other students of similar skill level, musical affinity, etc to make sure they everyone has a great experience and learns a ton.

Backbeat Music Academy has a a range of group options, from total beginners to serious students.
Some are very serious and sound amazing, others are just getting started.
Group Class FAQ
- Band classes meet once a week, usually for an hour (or 45 mins for 4-6 year olds)
- Band classes aren’t reschedule-able like private lessons are, because of the difficulty in rescheduling everyone at the same time
- Group sizes are kept very small – usually under 6 students per class
- Band students get to do the regular recitals, but also perform and our Backbeat Band Showcases. These are like a mini-music festival, just for the bands to come and play their entire set at a real music venue
- Custom bands+classes are available if you have a few students in mind let us know and we may be able to set something up for you
